From Daniel Kenney who writes: Chinese Junk..have been building this kit for about 6 years on and off..

Had to modify many items..came with no canopy, had to make one with pieces of heavy cardboard. Glued and then painted straw colour to simulate bamboo.
Rear had no place to board small boarding craft..had to make a shelf. Doors, pulley to raise and lower boat.
Added safety net so crew would not fall off in battle.
Have several books as reference to build chines junk ships.
Sails can go up or down. ( note..masts are not glued in yet for easy access to main deck)
Will add canons and extra men ( crew) later.
