The annual MonSFFA holiday feast was a huge success. The food was excellent, as was the service. It was noisy, though, since there was a hockey game on. (Of course, there was!!)
Keith did a fabulous job on the raffle prizes this year. They were all individually wrapped, and winners had to pick from the pile, so no one knew quite what they were getting. I don’t remember all the winners, but Josée won a jigsaw puzzle that will be 6 feet long when finished–if she ever finishes it!– and Mark Nadeau won a collection of Enterprise pins by the TWPG, one of only ten made. Sylvain won a novel, Krampus, which has just been released as a movie. The Fernster went home with David Brin’s Existence.
We were delighted to have our ex-President, Bernard Reischl, and his lady, Stephanie, in attendance as well.
