MonSFFA will hold its first actual, live, in-person club meeting in over three years this Saturday afternoon, August 12! We encourage all club members, current and former, to attend, and we look forward to seeing everyone again, face to face! It’s been too long!
At the same time, we’ll be hosting on ZOOM a parallel e-meeting for the benefit of those out-of-towners among our ranks. This online get-together will serve as a test of the local wifi available to us in our new meeting hall. We hope to enable ZOOMers to join in the fun and ultimately, we hope to establish hybrid MonSFFA meetings, allowing both in-person and virtual participation.

Note that we’re starting the e-meeting a little earlier than usual, at 12:30PM rather than 1:00PM.
This is to accommodate a trial run of our ZOOM-chat on the local wifi; we’ll use that extra 30 minutes to run a few tests. Our aim is to successfully live-stream this, and future MonSFFA meetings for the benefit of our out-of-towners, and those locals who, on occasion, may not be able to make it to the meeting hall for one reason or another.
Your feedback will help us gauge the quality of the system, and if need be, fine-tune the set-up for optimum performance.
The meeting will officially open at 1:00PM, with the commencement of scheduled programming.
