The interior is first airbrushed in Testor’s Model Master Wood, then the framework was picked out in Andrea Colors Wood (a darker shade) before a color wash of Citadel Reikland Fleshshade.
The instrument panel and control yoke were painted in Model Color Grey-Black. The seaplane trolley was painted wood, then washed with the Reikland Fleshshade, Wheels were done in Model Color Natural Steel.
Bases are Floquil Black. The overall airframe color is Model Master Italian Red. Porco was done using Game Color Khaki as a base. Model Colors Sunny Skintone, Pinky Flesh, Burnt Umber, English Khaki, & Offwhite. Fio was finished using Offwhite, Panzer Aces Highlights Flesh, Model Color Orange Red for her hair, Khaki for her flight helmet, & turqouise for her scarf.
If you look closely I’ve added .005 Stainless Steel wire to represent the pontoon rigging.
I applied the kit decals for the underside of the floats, which worked reasonably well, but a little dark. So I ended up repainting them with Model Air Wood which seemed closer in color.
