This Is My Funniest is a 2006 anthology edited by Mike Resnick. Each  contributor was asked to supply the short story which they felt to be
their funniest.

My copy was originally property of a municipal library, which discarded it. It then entered the collection of someone else, who then  dumped it at a MonSFFA  book sale, which is where I got it There’s   some reasonably interesting stuff here, by some skilled writers, but   the bulk of it is … oh dear.  *This* is what they chose as their showpieces?
