From Nic Farey in Las Vegas: This Here

TH 49

“In my experience by the time they find out that you know nothing about it, you know something about it.”

Five hours in line for a Covid test, only to be told they had closed for the day? The photo of all the cars lined up on the highway for as far as forever is shocking. Mostly, though, I go looking for the footy stories.

From the N3F,Massachusetts,  three zines:

TNFF202201 :  The first issue of the National Fantasy Fan for our 81st year of existence.

With this mailing, issues of Ionisphere and of The N3F Review of Books Incorporating Prose Bono.

POLL!

In the last National Fantasy Fan, a correspondent proposed that we should have separate Neffys for books from commercial publishers and books from independent publishers (your President, for example). It might be proposed that this division would be read as meaning that books from one of those sources is inferior to books from the other of those sources. It might be proposed that multiplying the number of Neffys may or may not be a good thing.

Also, you may think that there are Neffy awards we should add or delete.

I really like this zine.  Pictures of wildlife very different from ours, and Mike’s astrophotography make it a standout.

This ish has a really gorgeous cover –cactus blooms.
